Sam has extensive experience on strategic planning and transaction advisory, having been involved in the discipline
for over 15 years (combined) as an International Marketing Manager. Sam has worked in various disciplines as strategist,
investment promotion manager, director and has been involved in programmes that promote doing business in South
African mining and tourisim.
Sam is recently a Chief Executive Officer of the Rail Road Association of Southern Africa, in addition to his roles as CEO
of SirSam Minerals and SirSam Consulting Pty Ltd’s. He’s been involved in business leadership as a board member of various
organisations, and also been a member and Chaired Audit & Risk Committee/s.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce (economics) and Masters Degree in Development (development economics and
leadership) from the University of Limpopo, South Africa, and is completing his mini-thesis for a Masters Degree in Business
Leadership (MBL) with Graduate School of Leadership of the University of South Africa. Sam’s main specialization
is in economics, business modelling, strategy, transaction advisory and investment facilitation, and also heads
up the entire team.
Phuthanang is a finance specialist and Chartered Accountant of over eight (8) years. Phuthanang has a wide experience
of working in finance and in various roles with major organisations including as assistant manager (corporate finance),
assistant manager (audit), commissioner with Human Rights Commission SA, and a co-Director of her accounting firm.
Phuthanang also served as board member of various agencies as chairperson of audit committee and ordinary board member.
Phuthanang has a B. Accounting Degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and is a member of South
African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and also a Registered Auditor. Her specialization is on financial modeling,
auditing, taxation and strategy formulation and implementation, and as well as transaction advisory.
Maletele (Sam) moraswi
Maletele Moraswi, commonly known as Sam, is an experienced Instrumentation Specialist, with 18 years in the mining
industry (Magnetite, Vermiculite, and Platinum), and his career has developed over a broad technical/ engineering base,
through maintenance and installation, into general supervision. Sam has a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
(light current) obtained through the then Technikon Northern Transvaal (now Tshwane University of Technology) in
South Africa, and also has a Diploma in Computerised Project Management with Damelin Correspondence College, Republic
of South Africa. He is a registered Pr. Techni. Eng., with the Engineering Council of South Africa (Reg. No. 200430221),
and also registered with the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers.
Kgabo is a specialist in Quality Assurance & Human Resource management; Organisatinal Development; Employees
Relations; and Talent management. Kgabo has worked in various mining houses as as a Human Resources specialist,
Human Resource Development practitioner, and acting HRD coordinator.
Kgabo has a B.Sc Degree in Biochemistry from University of Limpopo and National Diploma in ETDP from University
of Johannesburg, South Africa, and N3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Wescoal.
She also has ETDP-Certificate Level 5 and ETDP-Certificate Level 3 + 4 from Maccauvlei and Core Training International
and MQA-Trade Certificate(Fitting) with Engineering Skills Training Centre. Kgabo has completed both Assessor and
Moderator training courses with SKU and Health and Safety Rep Certificate wth LexisNexis and has good Understanding of
ISO 9001-2000 Standards learned from Alpha Certification Services.
Ntumi is such a reliable, independent and hard working metallurgist who is very keen in exploring and
gaining knowledge in the mining industry as a whole. Ntumi has wide experience of working in the Mining Industry
including having been attached to big mining houses in various capacities including Process Engineer, Minerologist,
Metallurgist, and Senior Laboratory Advisor.
Ntumi completed National Diploma in Extraction Metallurgy with major
subjects including Mineral Processing, Geology, Hydrometallurgy, Pyrometallurgy, Coal Processing and Usage Theory
and Practical, with Technikon Witwatersrand; and also has B Tech. Degree in Extraction Metallurgy obtained from
Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa and BSc. Hons. in Applied Science-Metallurgy from University of
Pretoria, Republic of South Africa.
Tshililo P. Mukwevo
Tshililo (Portia) is an office administrator with a Bachelor of Public Administration from the
University of Venda, Republic of South Africa. She has a short experience of working with the services sector
and was previous attached to the ServiceSETA in the administration functions in 2017.
Tshililo is also a qualified assessor and skills development facilitator with The Education, Training and
Development Practices (ETDP) Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), and also registered assessor
and skills development facilitator with ServicesSETA in the New Venture Creation qualification.
She’s a self-motivated, hard worker and flexible individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Sagwati is an exploration Geologist of a wide range of experience, having been involved in iron ore, platinum,
gold, copper, tin exploration fields in Southern Africa, with emphasis on the geology of the Bushveld igneous complex.
She has a proven experience in exploration geology through mapping, sampling, planning of drill holes and managing of
exploration projects and mineral resources, and has worked as exploration geologist and part-time Geotechnical
investigations with various companies.
Sagwati has B.Sc. bachelor degree and also B.Sc. Hons. Degree in Applied earth science from University of Stellenbosch,
Republic of South Africa, with specialty in economic geology, GIS, geostatistics, geo-hydrology, geophysics and geology
of Southern Africa. Geology, geography (GIS), gemnology and kimberlite petrology coarse and environmental Geochemistry.
